Hi I’m Amy Johnston. I am a public relations consultant working in Leeds, with a background in consumer PR and marketing communications. I’ve been working in social media for just over a year and really enjoying this new side to the industry.
I’m currently working as an account manager at Wolfstar, a consultancy specialising in social media and word of mouth PR. I have been interested in these aspects of the industry for some time, and working with such a cutting edge company has given me the chance to learn all about PR 2.0 and really develop my skills in this area.
I’m hoping this blog will combine my interest in both consumer PR and social media to create a unique insight into this relatively untapped area of PR. I will blog about consumer brands and products that utilise social media to their advantage, or those who do it badly, general PR, consumer and retail news, music, films, fashion and basically anything that interests me and I think will interest others.
