Hi I’m Amy and I’m a Pom living in Australia!
After working in public relations and social media in Leeds for more than five years, an adventure down under came calling, so here I am - a geologist’s girlfriend in glamorous Kalgoorlie! Not exactly the city life I’m used to, but fun all the same!
I’m currently working as the membership and marketing coordinator for the Goldfields Oasis. Here I look after all memberships, corporate relationships and all the centre’s marketing, PR and advertising.
I worked in social media for two years for brands including Sony Ericsson, the NHS and Lee Cooper, which was amazing fun and really taught me a lot about how communications are changing.
This blog was born when I worked at social media consultancy, Wolfstar, so used to be my contribution to the world of social media and its effects on brands and businesses. However, as I’m now adventuring abroad and also working in a different industry, I feel it might stray into kind of a travel diary while we’re here.
